On the afternoon of July 25, Hue Central Hospital hosted the workshop titled “KMOLs - Communication Skills Training for Healthcare Experts as Social Influencers”. The event was jointly organized by Hue Central Hospital, University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, and RMIT University Vietnam.

The above activity was recently organized by the Hue City Center for Disease Control (Hue CDC) with the aim of early detection of hypertension, preventing complications, and managing treatment for commune-level healthcare workers and collaborators in the communes of Vinh Loc, Huong Loc, Phu Vang, and Phu Vinh.

“Up to now, nearly 200 works and items within the Complex of Hue Monuments have been preserved, restored, and renovated, with a total expense of over 2.000 billion VND. This work has always strictly complied with the regulations of the 1972 World Heritage Convention, UNESCO guidelines, and the Law on Cultural Heritage of Vietnam, ensuring authenticity, integrity, and adaptability to the harsh climate conditions of the Central region of Vietnam, etc.,”. These details were shared by Hue Monuments Conservation Center to Mr. Lazare Eloundou, Director of UNESCO Cultural Heritage Center during his visit and working trip in Vietnam at the end of May.

On July 17, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to students who completed the Work-Study Transfer Program for the academic year 2023 -2025.

On the morning of July 11, Hue Central Hospital hosted the voluntary blood and platelet donation program titled “White Blouse - Pink Heart”, with the participation of 350 staff members and medical personnel currently working at the hospital. On July 10, Ms. Sophie Maysonnave - Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities at the French Embassy in Vietnam, and Director of the French Institute in Vietnam had an official meeting with Hue Monuments Conservation Center before concluding her term of working service in Vietnam.

The contributions and legacy of Diem Phung Thi - a sculptor, have left a profound impact on the global sculpting scene. Hue is fortunate that she chose to return and spend the rest of her life here, ultimately donating her artistic legacy to the city.
