As Lunar New Year approaches, areas around universities grow increasingly quiet. Traffic thins out, while many eateries and photocopy shops close for the holiday. Boarding houses fall silent as most students head home by the 24th or 25th day of the lunar December; those who remain are mainly from distant hometowns, working part-time, or hoping to experience Tet in a new place.

A quick lunch when the afternoon has already faded into evening, and a dinner late at night, despite the hard work, orchid arrangers during Tet season remain cheerful and excited, because the job is not only a way to earn a living, but also a way to satisfy their passion.

Alongside the famous horse paintings by renowned artist Le Ba Dang, art lovers have been able to admire many other works sharing the same horse theme on the occasion of Binh Ngo Spring 2026.

On the evening of February 12, at Phu Bai International Airport, the City Labor Federation organized a welcome and gift-giving program for union members and workers on the “Trade Union Flight - Spring 2026,” returning home to celebrate Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

At a small workshop on Chi Lang Street, artisan Do Huu Triet is experimenting with new applications of Phap lam. A brass violin stands out as his boldest creation, reflecting his aspiration to bring traditional materials into innovative and unconventional forms.

​ On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on February 8th, the Trade Union of Thuan Hoa Ward organized the program “Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party”, featuring many practical activities to support union members and workers so they can welcome the traditional Tet holiday in joy and warmth. On February 3rd, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh held a courtesy meeting and working session with Mr. Oh Jungtaek, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang, who paid a visit to Hue on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

On the morning of February 2, the supervisory and inspection delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the deputies to the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, led by General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, and member of the National Election Council, conducted an inspection and working session with Hue City.
