On the morning of June 9, doctors from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics Center, Hue Central Hospital said that after a week of intensive treatment, they saved the life of pediatric patient Truong Phuc G. H. (11 years old, Vy Da Ward, Hue City) had fulminant myocarditis with complications of cardiogenic shock and ventricular fibrillation by Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (VA-ECMO).

The doctor white blouse has been associated with the image of the simple, thoughtful, and warm doctors when they examine, do the treatments, and take care of the patients. Taking patients as the center, medical staff try their best every day to provide dedicated treatments and care to exchange the simple happiness of the patients’ smile, health and their peace of mind.

"Looking at the picture of cancer, many people find it very dark. But for me, it's different; I see this picture lighting up every time. The opportunity for patients to detect and successfully treat cancer is more favorable than ever…". That message was given by Prof. Nguyen Chan Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society at the Annual Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control - Hue 2021. And that "picture" is being decorated by the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital) with brighter andvivid colors.

On April 11, Hue Central Hospital claimed that pediatric patient Tran Nguyen Thuy N. (12 months old) - a case of bilateral nephroblastoma that was successfully treated by the collaboration between the Hospital and St Jude Children's Research Hospital (USA) - has returned to Vietnam.

Established on January 3, up to now, Hue Volunteer Doctors Association (HVDA) with more than 100 members has accompanied more than 6,000 cases of F0 home treatment in the city, in which, more than 70% of cases are the elderly, children and unvaccinated patients.
