Nuoy Reconstructive International is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 in the USA. Its mission is to provide safe and affordable reconstructive surgical services, support treatment for children with deformities, as well as training and transferring techniques to local medical teams. This marks the organization’s first collaboration with Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, representing a significant step forward in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment through international integration.

On this occasion, leading professors and experts from the USA worked alongside the hospital's medical staff to conduct screenings, provide professional consultations, and perform surgeries for nearly 30 patients from Hue City and many other provinces and cities, including Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Da Nang, and Gia Lai, etc.

Experts and doctors held a specialized seminar on orthognathic surgery

For many patients, especially children from disadvantaged backgrounds, the program is not only a medical examination, but also a source of hope for life-changing opportunities.

As part of the program, the hospital also hosted a specialized seminar on orthognathic surgery for doctors and trainees, covering a wide range of in-depth content.

This reconstructive plastic surgery program not only provides practical benefits to patients, but also contributes to affirming the role of international cooperation in developing local healthcare. Following these initial results, it is expected that Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital will continue to expand collaborative activities and implement more modern techniques in the coming time, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare and providing better treatment opportunities for the people.
