The year 2025 marked many important milestones for Hue Central Hospital; it is  the ninth year in which it has implemented a full financial autonomy mechanism. Beyond focusing on professional targets, the Hospital has clearly defined an orientation toward sustainable development, placing patients at the center, modern governance and digital transformation as the foundation, and medical staff as the core value.

According to self-assessment results, the Hospital's quality score reached 4.41 points, with inpatient and outpatient satisfaction rates remained at very high levels. Notably, the Hospital continues to affirm its position as one of the leading organ transplant centers in the country, with more than 2,600 successful tissue and organ transplants, and many specialized techniques approaching international standards.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, recognized and commended the Hospital's efforts in 2025. 7-year-old patient successfully receives bone marrow transplant, no longer dependent on blood transfusions

On the morning of March 25, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had held a discharge ceremony for a pediatric patient with thalassemia (a hereditary blood disorder) following a successful bone marrow transplant using marrow donated by the patient’s older sister. This is the 15th thalassemia bone marrow transplant performed at the hospital, marking an important step forward in the treatment of genetic hematologic diseases.
