The year 2025 marked many important milestones for Hue Central Hospital; it is  the ninth year in which it has implemented a full financial autonomy mechanism. Beyond focusing on professional targets, the Hospital has clearly defined an orientation toward sustainable development, placing patients at the center, modern governance and digital transformation as the foundation, and medical staff as the core value.

According to self-assessment results, the Hospital's quality score reached 4.41 points, with inpatient and outpatient satisfaction rates remained at very high levels. Notably, the Hospital continues to affirm its position as one of the leading organ transplant centers in the country, with more than 2,600 successful tissue and organ transplants, and many specialized techniques approaching international standards.

Through 131 years of establishment and development, Hue Central Hospital has increasingly affirmed its pivotal role in public healthcare. It has also focused on investing in modern and green-clean-beautiful infrastructure, as well as building a safe and humane medical environment.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, recognized and commended the Hospital's efforts in 2025. The 23rd heart transplant patient at Hue Central Hospital discharged

On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.
