The skillful and unique art performances from domestic and international art troupes gathering in Hue have created a bustling and colorful Hue Festival 2024. Wherever art troupes pass by, it is like a bustling stage with drums, artists' laughter, and prolonged applause from tourists and people of Hue.

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. This event is part of the “Sustainable Forest management and Biodiversity conservation” (VFBC) project.

Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, attended the event.

From May 21st -29th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of Hue City’s Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Vo Le Nhat, visited Lausanne, Switzerland, to attend the general assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF). The delegation also signed a cooperation agreement with Namur, Belgium, and held meetings with EURASIA Association in Switzerland and the city of Blois in France.

On May 27, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Dien District, Head of the Organizing Committee of the “Song nuoc Tam Giang” Festival (“Tam Giang Waves” Festival) 2024, said that the locality would organize paragliding performances for the first time on Tam Giang Lagoon, and local beaches to serve the locals and visitors.

With consistent participation and numerous prestigious awards in music competitions, coupled with frequent performances in artistic programs throughout Hue, Phan Huy Thanh, singer, has made a profound impact on audiences. Particularly, the songs about Hue performed by Phan Huy Thanh are vibrant and youthful, such as "Cơm hến" (Mussel Rice), "Trai Huế" (Hue Boys), "Nón" (Conical Hat)... truly bringing a breath of fresh air, contributing to spreading and elevating the imagery of the landscapes and people of Hue to the listeners.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with representatives of a number of departments and agencies, local people, as well as tourists, participated in the procession offering lotus flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Special National Monument - President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood Memorial House in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) on the morning of May 19th.

The Central Coast Museum of Nature (henceforth the Museum) was established in 2009, and its specimen display space was officially open to the public in 2020. Though still being in its “infancy”, the Museum’s exhibition space has attracted many scientists, researchers, and young people who are passionate about learning and experiencing nature conservation and biodiversity.
