During the past term, Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city carried out numerous activities and achieved noteworthy results. Communication and people-to-people external information work was given due attention, contributing to raising awareness among members and the community about the traditional friendship and Vietnam - Thailand “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”. Through this, positive information was disseminated, along with the spirit of solidarity and mutual sharing between the peoples of the two countries.

The Association flexibly renewed its modes of operation, gradually adapting to the new context; maintained connections with friendship organizations and Thai friends through appropriate forms; and actively participated in exchange and external affairs activities. In the context of the Vietnam - Thailand “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” continuing to be consolidated and developed, Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city bears the responsibility to further promote its bridging role, contributing to enhanced understanding, trust, and enduring friendship between the two countries, and between Hue City and Thai partners.

The Congress also elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 23 members; Mr. Dinh Manh Thang was re-elected as President of Vietnam–Thailand Friendship Association of the city for the 2025 - 2030 term.
