On the morning of 15/11, the flood water of the Huong River at Kim Long ward reached +4.2 m, 0.7 m higher than alert level 3. The flood situation is still complex as the water level of the Huong River is forecasted to rise to +4.5m, exceeding alert level 3 by 1m, surpassing the 2022 flood peak.

Lately, I've found a fondness for evening walks or drives around the city, as the city comes alive and becomes quite interesting at night. Hue City, with its Perfume River, Ngu Mountain, and harmonious natural landscapes and beautiful heritage, attracts tourists by its peace and antiquity, being a destination for culture enthusiasts.

Gia Hoi Old Quarter is located between the Perfume river and the Dong Ba river, running from Dong Ba Market down to Bao Vinh.

Due Son, also known as Mount Le, Mount Re or Mount Ke, has a slightly pointed shape and beautiful form. The Eastern side of the mountain rests on Ta Trach Lake. On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 - 2/9/2023), on the morning of September 2nd, on the Huong River, in front of the gate of Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City), the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 34th Provincial Traditional Boat Racing Competition in Thua Thien Hue Province.

The first annual boat racing event of Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town) kicked off on the morning of August 30th on Nhu Y River (at the community tourism spot of Thanh Toan Tiled-Roof Bridge), marking the start of a series of activities to celebrate numerous important local events.

Along with Bach Ho Bridge, which is a railroad bridge, and Thao Long Bridge, with the architectural structure of a bridge at the top and a dam below to prevent salinity at the bottom, there is a total of seven bridges over the Huong River, namely Truong Tien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Tuan Bridge, and Dinh Market Bridge.

It is the soothing feeling of many visitors after experiencing Hue culture, with quiet citadels and temples, green nature, gentle Perfume River, as well as friendly and close people.

That is Gia Long Mausoleum (also known as Thien Tho Mausoleum), located in Huong Tho Commune (Hue City), which is around 15km to the Southeast of the city center.
