The paradise by the riverside
HNN.VN - It is a paradise of gentle tranquility found along the pedestrian walkways by the Huong River after being planned, including the Nhu Y riverside route, the network of pedestrian walkways along the Huong River, and riverside parks in the heart of Hue City.
I lingered for a long time over a photo shared by a friend, capturing the whole family enjoying a picnic on the bank of the Huong River, just less than a ten-minute motorbike ride from home, with the caption: “Every day, just like this, is peaceful”. Then, my mind wandered to cities suffocated by high-rise buildings, dust, and heat, and I thought of the faces that cannot smile in places where explosions and bombs still fall... Standing by the lush green banks of the Huong River these days, I truly feel as though I am in the midst of paradise.
