On the afternoon of January 4, the volunteer program “Radiant Spring Vibe” took place at the first-floor lobby of the Oncology Center at Hue Central Hospital, creating a warm, caring atmosphere for patients undergoing treatment in the oncology department and pediatric radiotherapy unit. The charity event was jointly organized by the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and the City Women Business Association.

On the morning of December 23, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) announced that they had held discharge ceremonies for four patients who underwent successful transplants: two allogeneic bone marrow transplants for the treatment of thalassemia, one liver transplant, and one cross-country heart transplant.

This achievement marks a significant milestone, affirming the hospital’s ability to master the entire liver transplant process - from organ retrieval and liver splitting to transplantation and post-operative care.

On November 17, the ReSurge International, in collaboration with Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, implemented a program of free examination and surgeries for patients with cleft lip and palate sequelae, facial pigmented lesions, ptosis, facial deformities, and hand deformities.

On the morning of November 14, Hue Central Hospital organized a meeting for the Diabetes Patient Club in response to World Diabetes Day. The program was organized to encourage and share hardships with the young patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

During these historic days of flooding, the doctors and medical staff at Hue Psychiatric Hospital have been “as tense as a guitar string,” both physically and mentally, to ensure the safety of patients and their families.

Amid the complicated developments of recent flooding, Hue City Department of Health has rolled out a series of coordinated response measures to promptly relocate patients while ensuring the continuity of medical examinations, treatment, and public healthcare services.
