At the program, experts updated participants on the latest evidence from the KEYNOTE-522 study on the management of early-stage triple-negative breast cancer, and discussed the role of radiotherapy as immunotherapy becomes increasingly widely used.
Practical experience from patients monitored and treated at Hue Central Hospital was also shared, helping clarify approaches to treatment and the integration of different therapeutic modalities in clinical practice.
The discussions also highlighted the roles of multimodal and personalized treatment strategies. Treatment options should be selected based on the characteristics of the disease, and each patient’s specific condition, with the aim of optimizing treatment outcomes while minimizing unnecessary side effects.
