Rally held to mark World Mental Health Day 2026

Under the theme ‘Listening to Experiences: Authentic Voices, Meaningful Change’, this year's World Mental Health Day conveys a clear message: respect and listen to patients' wishes, and turn understanding into practical actions in care and treatment.

At the rally, leaders of Hue Psychiatric Hospital highlighted three key priorities for the coming period: improving the quality of medical examinations and treatment, enhancing service attitudes and placing patients at the center of care; strengthening community-based mental healthcare and close coordination with grassroots healthcare facilities to ensure continuous management and rehabilitation support; and pursuing sustainable innovation, expanding communications and raising public awareness.

On this occasion, Hue Psychiatric Hospital signed memoranda of understanding with the 115 Emergency Center and the SOS75 Hue O Dong Team to coordinate psychiatric emergency response and suicide prevention in the community. Thuan Hoa Publishing House and Hue Library presented a ‘Your Bookshelf’ collection of 135 books for healthcare workers, patients and their families. Charitable donors also presented meaningful gifts to patients with mental health conditions.
