Hue City launches oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery program after cancer treatment
HNN.VN - On the morning of September 28, Hue Odonto - Stomatology Hospital and Hue International General Hospital, in coordination with ReSurge International, launched a screening and microsurgical reconstruction program, including oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery for patients who have undergone cancer treatment.

The program runs from September 28 to October 3, providing treatment and reconstructive support for patients with appropriate indications for surgery.
On the first day, patients underwent thorough medical examinations and screening to assess their health conditions, and identify those eligible for surgery. Under the plan, the program is expected to screen from 25 to 35 patients, with around 20 - 22 cases to be selected for surgery at Hue International General Hospital (15 Ha Noi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

The program aims at patients requiring oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery following cancer treatment. All surgical costs for the selected patients are free of charge, with an estimated value of 50 - 70 million VND per case.
The program was first launched in Hue City in 2015. To date, it has been held 12 times, providing support for more than 200 patients.
