Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, announced on January 19th that the museum received nearly 60,000 visitors in 2023. Visitors were mainly attracted to Le Ba Dang and Diem Phung Thi art exhibitions. According to Ms. Trai, this figure represents a 40% increase compared to that of the year 2022.

On the afternoon of January 8, the Provincial Business Association and TTC Group coordinated with Hue CEO Club and the Provincial Travel Association organized a seminar on business management and operation. The program attracted the participation of nearly 200 delegates from the businesses within the province.

According to the center's assessment, the increase in the number of visitors to the heritage sites was thanks to the effects of the Four Seasons Festival and corresponding festivals.

Over 46,000 entries from more than 130 schools in the province were sent to participate in the preliminary round of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest over a four-year span, from 2019 to 2022.

Thai Hoa Palace, the symbol of imperial power of the Nguyen dynasty, set to be built by Emperor Gia Long in 1805, is currently being undergoing a restoration funded by nearly 130 billion Vietnamese dong from the state budget. The comprehensive conservation and restoration project of Thai Hoa Palace relic began in late 2021 and is scheduled for completion in 2025.

Hue - “The National Green City” is the urban with highest density of green trees all over the country, with nearly 70.000 urban green trees. The rows of dense and shady old trees on Ngo Quyen, Le Loi, August 23, Doan Thi Dien, Bach Dang, and Le Duan streets, etc., or in the parks such as Tu Tuong, February 3, Ly Tu Trong, etc., have solicited the attention of many tourists amid sunny days.

Hue International Photography Festival 2023, which took place from September 10 to September 13 and was organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the Crossing Bridge 20Plus, attracted the participation of nearly 100 photographers from many countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, along with 19 photographers from localities throughout the country.

In the 2023 National High School Graduation Examination, Gia Hoi High School witnesses 434 out of 435 students passing the exam, reaching the rate of nearly 100%. After nearly 10 days of activity, the 1st Co Tu Ethnic Traditional Sculpture Creation Camp in 2023, hosted by the People's Committee of Nam Dong district, closed on July 29th. Many outstanding works of art were awarded by the organizers.

On July 7, leaders of the Project Management Board on Improving Hue City Water Environment informed that the unit has started implementing the construction of the walking path along the Nhu Y River (Hue City) through the capital of nearly 260 billion VND sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
