Awarding bachelor degrees to nearly 2.700 new graduates

HNN.VN - On June 28th, the University of Education, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to 1,568 new bachelor’s graduates.

Among the 1.568 graduates, 131 graduated with excellent, 657 with distinction, 771 with credit, and only 9 students received a satisfactory classification. These encouraging figures affirm the university’s training quality and the students’ academic efforts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Ho Son, Principal of the University of Education, Hue University, emphasized that four years may not be a long journey, but it is enough to leave a profound mark on one’s youth. He noted that the 2021-2025 students began their studies under extraordinary circumstances - the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused numerous difficulties and disruptions. Students had to adapt to virtual classrooms, studied independently, and rose above the challenging learning environment. Today’s academic achievements are a vivid testament to their persistent efforts and unyielding determination over the past four years.

On the same day, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held its second graduation ceremony of 2025 for 1.126 students across 11 majors. Of these, 672 students graduated with excellent and distinction classifications, accounting for 60%. Additionally, two doctoral candidates completed their training programs and received their PhD degrees during the ceremony.

The University of Foreign Languages, Hue University currently has over 7.000 students, offering 12 undergraduate programs, 2 doctoral programs, and 4 master’s programs. The university is one of the leading institutions in Vietnam and internationally in language and cultural studies, meeting labour market and societal demands, and effectively contributing to the advancement of science, technology, and international integration.
