On the morning of May 19, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the thematic exhibition “The National Election Day - Ballots of Trust and Responsibility” officially opened on the occasion of the 136th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

On the afternoon of May 19, the exhibition “Hue - A Historical Legacy and a Journey of Rising in a New Era” was organized by the City Museum of History at Huong Tra High School in Huong Tra Ward.

Under the theme “Hue Heritage - Convergence and Divergence”, the exhibition introduced nearly 150 remarkable sketch artworks depicting Hue to the public in Ho Chi Minh City. The collection is currently preserved by Hue Museum of Fine Arts.

On the afternoon of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Young Pioneer Council of Hue City organized a flower-offering ceremony, a merit-reporting ceremony to Uncle Ho, and a commendation program honoring outstanding teachers as Young Pioneer Team Leaders and exemplary children of the city in 2026.

The Duong No Village Festival 2026, jointly organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City and Duong No Ward People’s Committee on the occasion of the 136th Birth Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), and in response to the Summer Festival 2026, will take place from May 14 to 16.

“Encoding Time” was the theme of an exhibition that opened to the public on the afternoon of April 25 at the Intercultural Meeting Place - Lan Vien Co Tich space (part of the Huong River Museum of Ancient Ceramics, Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

On the afternoon of April 24, at the Nguyen Dynasty’s Privy Council (Co Mat Vien - Tam Toa), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held an online signing ceremony for a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement with the Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac Museum (France), opening an additional channel to access international archival resources for heritage conservation.

“Hue cultural heritage - Integration, creativity, and development” is the title of a thematic exhibition that has recently opened to the public at Pleiku Museum (21 Tran Hung Dao Street, Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai Province) on April 21.

Such is the title of a book recently released by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in late March 2026. The more than 20 articles included in the book are the result of a dedicated process of research, documentation, and fieldwork by its two authors, Nguyen Duc Loc and Le Thi Mai An (currently working at the Hue City Museum of History).

On the morning of April 11, at Secret Affairs Institute - Tam Toa Complex, Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in coordination with Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, Hai Ba Trung High School, and Nguyen Hue High School, organized a heritage education program titled “Reforms of Emperor Minh Mang”, in celebration of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).

Up to now, the Museum of Nature of the Central Coastal Region has collected and is storing more than 4,500 specimens including many sets of samples of different species. Typically, geological and mineral samples, fish samples, forest wood samples, tiger, elephant, gaur samples, etc.

Every year the museum welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to visit and enjoy.

As a new technology launched in Hue, works at the museum can interact with visitors through different effects and movements.

During the 100-year journey of existence and operation, the ancient Khai Dinh Museum, now the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, is promoting its mission of preserving the heritage of previous generations.
