The event is part of a series of activities within Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, attracting a great number of audiences.
Over 100 professional models and young models took to the runway in a series of ao-dai collections, including the Nhat Binh and Ngu Than (five-panel ao-dai) styles, the iconic purple ao-dai, and an ao-dai collection with designs inspired by Diem Phung Thi’s modular art and Ngo dong flowers.
Also in this space, the event featured numerous ao-dai collections alongside archival photographs of ao-dai’s evolution, offering visitors deeper insights into this heritage. Furthermore, ao-dai tailoring and made-to-measure services created a vibrant community cultural space, attracting both locals and visitors.

Since 2024, “The Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” has been recognized as a national intangible heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. It further affirms the enduring value of Hue’s ao-dai in contemporary life, reinforcing local pride while paving the way to develop the brand name of “Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai”.
