The principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted announced that Hue City has three 12th-grade students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. All three students are from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

The Duong No Village Festival 2026, jointly organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City and Duong No Ward People’s Committee on the occasion of the 136th Birth Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), and in response to the Summer Festival 2026, will take place from May 14 to 16.

On May 6, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an opening ceremony for the 2026 HUSC Student Volleyball Tournament in a lively and energetic atmosphere, drawing large numbers of students, lecturers, and staff members.
