Vietnamese Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital

Established on December 19, 2020, Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital is a public organization bringing together Haiku enthusiasts to compose, exchange, publish, and promote poetry. Through its activities, the club has contributed to preserving and promoting Vietnamese Haiku while harmoniously integrating poetic forms with Hue’s cultural traditions, supporting local and national political tasks, and effectively advancing people-to-people diplomacy in its assigned field.

In 2025, the club organized and took part in numerous activities marking major events such as the First Full Moon Night and Vietnam Poetry Day, the 50th anniversary of National Reunification, Hue Festival Week 2025, and National Day on September 2, attracting broad public interest and participation. At the ceremony, the Club and poet Le Ba Duc (pen name Huong Giang), head of the club, were awarded certificates of merit by Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Hue City.

In 2026, Vietnamese Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital is going to organize and participate in poetry-music exchange activities to celebrate major national and city anniversaries, while focusing on the launch of the club’s commemorative book and the publication of a joint Vietnamese Haiku poetry collection for 2026.

Also on this occasion, the club honored members with outstanding contributions, admitted new members, and introduced the Vietnamese Haiku poetry collection “Under the Green Moss” by poet Ha Uyen.
