On June 24, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the city’s Forest Protection Department, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Small Grants Programme (SGP), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organized the program “The Cultural Colors of the Bru - Van Kieu People” in Phuc Loc Village, Hung Loc Commune.

On the afternoon of June 24, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan hosted a courtesy meeting with a delegation from Pacific Construction Group Co. Ltd., and Guotai Haitong Securities Co. Ltd., of China. The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, along with representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and units.

More than just a place serving authentic dishes from the Ancient Capital, Hue Thuong restaurant in the heart of Osaka, Japan, has become a familiar gathering place for Hue natives living far from home. Through every delicately prepared dish, the restaurant preserves and shares the cultural values and culinary essence of Hue.

On the afternoon of June 23, the Phu Xuan Ward Women's Union organized a cooking competition themed “Flavours of home - Connecting through love”, attracting more than 130 participants. The event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026).

Being nominated for “Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination” at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2026 can be considered an encouraging sign for the potential development of Vietnam’s cultural and tourism sectors.

On the evening of June 22, Hue Tourism Association, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, the National Tourism Agency of Belarus, and the Belarusian Tourism Industry Association, held an online seminar to connect and promote tourism connections between Hue City and Belarusian localities.

On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.

After 3 days, Hue Lotus Festival 2026 drew approximately 10,000 tourists coming to visit and experience cultural activities.

On the afternoon of June 21st, Hue City Women's Union coordinated with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation (Germany) to organize a training program on applying policy dialogue skills in practice for women's union officials and members.

On June 21, the University of Economics, Hue University, hosted a Student Scientific Research Conference for the 2025-2026 academic year.
