Numerous Students’ Research Works Are Closely Linked to Real-World Issues

14 students and student teams are honored for their outstanding achievements in scientific research during the 2025-2026 academic year

The conference was held as an important platform for students to cultivate creative thinking and develop the ability to identify and address real-world challenges, thereby enhancing their adaptability in a rapidly evolving world shaped by technological advancements. It also recognized and celebrated students’ initiative and creativity in research, while highlighting the dedication of lecturers who mentor, support, and accompany students throughout their academic and research journeys.

At the conference, 6 outstanding student research projects representing key socio-economic fields were selected for presentation and defense before a panel of academic experts. The projects included “Applying an Open-Source Business Process Management System (BPMS) to Manage Student Conduct Scores at the University of Economics, Hue University”; “Factors Influencing Hue University Students’ Intention to Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools for Learning”; “Supply Chain Analysis of Incense Products in Thuy Xuan Incense Village, Hue City”; “Factors Determining Generation Z Consumers’ Purchase Intentions on the Shopee E-commerce Platform”; “The Impact of Asset Structure on the Financial Performance of Vietnamese Industrial Enterprises”; and “Improving the Quality of Public Administrative Services in Phu Loc Commune, Hue City.”…

As an annual academic event, the Student Scientific Research Conference holds significant importance in the university’s training and research activities. It enables students to strengthen and broaden their knowledge, nurture creativity and intellectual development, and turn classroom learning into practical solutions for real-world problems.

To promote student scientific research, the University of Economics, Hue University, has implemented a wide range of support initiatives, including prioritizing research funding for student projects, supporting the Student Scientific Research Club in organizing training programs and activities to enhance students’ research capabilities, and appointing student groups to participate in scientific conferences and academic seminars. In addition, students across all academic programs are required to take a course in Research Methods, which equips them with fundamental knowledge and skills for conducting scientific research.
