Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Alexander Sidoruk, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, described Hue as a picturesque city rich in tourism resources and one of Vietnam’s leading cultural and tourism hubs. Benefiting from its strategic location in central Vietnam, close to Danang and Khanh Hoa, Hue is well-positioned to strengthen connectivity and expand tourism cooperation with Belarus. Furthermore, visa exemption policies for citizens of both countries, coupled with existing air connections, create favorable opportunities to further promote tourism cooperation.
According to Ms. Anastasia Semashko, Deputy Director of the National Tourism Agency of Belarus, Vietnam and Belarus enjoy a close relationship, with Vietnam emerging as an increasingly developing tourism destination. Therefore, promoting connections, strengthening deeper exchanges, and enhancing cooperation would unlock new opportunities for tourism development between the two countries, especially between Hue and Belarusian localities.
