On the night of July 26, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the Vietnamese national team participating in the 2025 International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in the Philippines. Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a 12th-grade student from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted won a Silver Medal.

Participating in the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), held in Paris, France, the Vietnamese national team of five students all earned medals: one Gold and four Silver medals. Tran Le Thien Nhan, a student from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted - Hue, was among the Silver Medalists.

In 2012, I first visited Chi Linh - Hai Duong and toured Con Son pagoda. Having had the opportunity to visit and worship at many pagodas across Vietnam, Con Son pagoda left a deep impression on me from the very first glance, due to its scenery, its ancient charm, and an unexplainable sense of sacred understanding. From June 23rd to 27th, 2025 Reconstructive Surgery Week at Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, co-organized with ReSurge International (USA), officially concluded, leaving a significant professional impact. The event not only successfully carried out 10 surgeries but also contributed to the training and technology transfer for dozens of Vietnamese doctors and medical staff.

On June 26th, Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, hosted a conference titled “From Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW, dated November 24th, 2023, of the Party Central Committee to the implementation of Resolution No. 54-NQ/TW, dated December 10th, 2019, of the Politburo on the construction and development of Hue City in the new era.”

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

The 8th Literature and Arts Criticism Writing Workshop, organized by Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, takes place from June 16th to 20th.

From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. The program aimed to update and enhance knowledge of sleep disorders for doctors and nurses from healthcare facilities across the country.

On the morning of June 6, the 14th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress officially opened in Hue City. The event was attended by 200 delegates from over 30 delegations representing local governments from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

The 2025 Asian Jujitsu Championship officially kicked off from May 23rd to 26th in Jordan. Among the eight Vietnamese athletes competing in, Hue Jujitsu contributed one representative who delivered an unexpected performance.
