Hue City leaders receive delegation of Champasak Province visiting and extending Tet greetings

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a courtesy reception for a delegation from Champasak Province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic). The delegation visited, extended Tet greetings, and congratulated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The delegation was led by Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Champasak Provincial Administration Committee.

During the reception, Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa expressed his deep gratitude for the respectful, warm, and brotherly welcome provided by Hue City leaders, and extended his best New Year wishes to the Party Committee, the government, and People of Hue City.

Affirming the special, loyal, and enduring friendship between Vietnam and Laos, Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa emphasized that Champasak Province always values and desires to further strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Hue City.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Champasak delegation to visit and extend Tet greetings to Hue City in an atmosphere filled with solidarity and friendship.

Mr. Phan Quy Phuong affirmed that Hue City always treasures and considers the cultivation of traditional friendship and special cooperation with Lao localities, including Champasak Province, an important and long-term task.

The reception took place in a friendly, warm, and trusting atmosphere, reflecting the shared determination of the leaders of the two localities to preserve, promote, and continuously deepen the long-standing and sustainable cooperative relationship between Hue City and Champasak Province, making a practical contribution to consolidating the special solidarity and loyalty between the two Parties, States, and the Peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
