On June 21, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced that the American Heart Association (AHA) has just awarded the SILVER PLUS Heart Failure Achievement Award to Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

On June 14th, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, was awarded the Certification of European standard neonatal resuscitation training center by representatives of the European Resuscitation Council and Newborns Vietnam organization.

On the afternoon of May 7, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with the Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund and the Department of Education and Training to organize an awarding ceremony to students who won high prizes in the national excellent student competition in the academic year of 2023 - 2024. On the morning of February 5th, the Organizing Committee of Tet Hue 2024 program held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to units and localities.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, said that on the evening of January 26, within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), there was an award ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards, taking place in Vientiane, Laos. The three cities representing Vietnam have been awarded (which will be effected from 2024 to 2026) namely: Hue (Thua Thien Hue Province), Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province), and Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh Province).

Being awarded the National Order of Merit, with the rank of Knight by the President of the French Republic, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Head of the Medical Francophone Office, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University affirmed that this is a medal for everyone.

Telling the story of an old lady from Hue with a philanthropic heart, young man Nguyen Duc Minh Hoang (Hue City) excellently surpassed more than 170 contestants nationwide to be awarded the First Prize in the 8th “Young Francophone Reporters 2023" contest.

Nguyen Minh Tai Loc, a 12th-grade student majoring in Physics at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Education and Training for his achievements at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad.

The Diamond Status is a prestigious award from the World Stroke Organization that Hue Central Hospital has been awarded for the first time in early December. This is also the highest award status of the World Stroke Organization for stroke units and stroke centers, which satisfy strict criteria for shortening time of emergency revascularization, screening for causes, and appropriate stroke prophylaxis.
