Hue University of Sciences, Hue University: Awarding degrees to 8 new doctorate’s and 175 new master’s graduates

HNN.VN - On the morning of January 10th, Hue University of Sciences, Hue University, held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to new doctoral and master graduates for the year 2025.

In this occasion, 8 doctoral candidates were officially recognized and awarded doctoral degrees, while 175 trainees were recognized as having completed their programs and were granted master’s degrees. Based on overall academic performance throughout the program, 8 master’s trainees achieved excellent classification (accounting for 4,57%), 141 trainees achieved good classification (80,57%), and 26 trainees achieved fair classification (14,86%). Regarding thesis defense results, 36 trainees achieved excellent results (20,57%), 134 trainees achieved good results (76,57%), 5 trainees achieved fair results (2,86%), and no trainee was classified as average.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector of Hue University of Sciences, Hue University, emphasized that the degree conferral ceremony marks an important milestone, recognizing the outcomes of a serious, persistent, and highly challenging process of study and research. For each master’s trainee and doctoral candidate, the master’s or doctoral degree is not only the result of accumulated knowledge, but also the crystallization of determination, aspiration for advancement, and a spirit of dedication to science. Throughout the training journey, trainees and doctoral candidates overcame numerous difficulties, including work pressures, time constraints, and rigorous academic and scientific research requirements.
