Degrees awarded to 600 new level I specialist doctors

Awarding learners with outstanding academic and training performance

The 2023 - 2025 Level-I Specialist training program was implemented in accordance with Decision No. 1636 (2001) issued by the Minister of Health. For the Level-I Specialist program under Project 585 (2023 - 2025), the Ministry of Health, the project management board, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy jointly organized admissions and training under a special curriculum issued by the Ministry of Health, designated for physicians working in mountainous areas, remote and isolated regions, border areas, islands, and areas with particularly difficult conditions.

Based on students’ academic results and conduct, the Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy decided to award Level I Specialist graduation recognition for the 2023 - 2025 cohort under Project 585 of the Ministry of Health to 32 learners across 7 specialties; and to recognize graduation and award Level I Specialist degrees for the 2023 - 2025 cohort of the university to 568 learners across 27 specialties.

For the 2023 - 2025 Level I Specialist cohort under Project 585, 4 students achieved excellent level, accounting for 12.5%; 21 achieved good, accounting for 65.6%; and 7 achieved fairly good, accounting for 21.9%. For the university’s 2023 - 2025 Level I Specialist cohort, 234 learners achieved excellent level (41.2%); 315 achieved good (55.5%); and 19 achieved fairly good level (3.3%).

With strong academic performance and active participation in school activities, the School’s Emulation and Commendation Council agreed to commend 24 learners of the 2023 - 2025 Level I Specialist cohort.
