The University of Education, Hue University awards degrees to 5 new PhD Candidates

HNN.VN - On July 15, the University of Education - Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to 5 new PhD candidates and 299 new Master candidates from courses 30, 31, and 32.

Awarding 4 Doctoral degrees, 18 Master degrees to graduates, 173 Engineers and Bachelors50 full scholarships for doctoral and master courses in Japan for Vietnamese officials and civil servantsConsultation workshop on the master plan for bicycle traffic developmentInter-regional connectivity, coastal urban development

Commending new valedictorians of each major 

2025 marks the 68th anniversary of the establishment and development of the University of Education - Hue University (1957 - 2025). For nearly 7 decades, the university has remained steadfast in its mission to train and foster high-quality teachers, researchers, and educational administrators for the country, especially for Central and Central Highlands regions. Among its efforts, postgraduate education plays a pivotal role, helping to affirm the university’s academic standing and research capabilities within Vietnam’s higher education system.

From just 2 master programs in 1991, the University of Education - Hue University has expanded to offer 12 doctoral programs and 30 master programs. The university has successfully conducted 33 postgraduate courses, with nearly 7,000 master graduates. Over 140 doctoral candidates have successfully defended their dissertations, and 185 PhD candidates are currently enrolled.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Ho Son, Rector of the University of Education - Hue University emphasized that this event is not merely a graduation ceremony, but also an occasion to honor the academic achievements, research efforts, and intellectual and personal growth of the post-graduates and doctoral candidates. It also serves to reaffirm the training quality of the University of Education - Hue University.
