On September 30th, Hue Central Hospital organized a Pediatric Endocrinology training course for 30 doctors of the unit and medical facilities. Also attending the training course were professors and doctors from Toulouse University and Lille University (France).

On September 18th, the People's Committee of Vinh Xuan Commune (Phu Vang District) held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing Vietnam heritage trees. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment; Professor, Dr. Dang Huy Huynh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, and Chairman of the Heritage Tree Council attended the ceremony.

On the morning of August 31st, at Duyet Thi Duong Royal Theater (Hue Imperial Citadel), the “Rencontres du Vietnam” (Meeting Vietnam) organization granted Vallet scholarships to students with high academic achievements in Thua Thien Hue Province. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

From July 20 to 26, at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-convention centre (IECC) in New Delhi, India, a delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, attended the programs within the framework of the session, according to the invitation from the Director of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee and Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from departments and branches.

On July 20th, the provincial Red Cross Society, Oxfam in Vietnam, and the New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi organized a summary workshop for the project “Post-COVID-19 livelihood recovery for female farmers in particularly difficult and for difficult communes in Thua Thien Hue.” The event was attended by Ms. Caroline Rachel Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.

From July 16 to 18, the Vietnam Cardiology Association and the Vietnam Society of Cardiology, in collaboration with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, organized the “Hypertension Summer School 2024” program.

On the afternoon of July 17, Song Huong Magazine and Truc Chi Vietnam Art Co., Ltd. jointly organized a painting exhibition with the theme "Giao Cua Mua – Cam On Mua He" (Season Changing – Thank You Summer) at Song Huong Magazine Editorial Office. (No. 9 Pham Hong Thai St., Hue City). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee attended the exhibition.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, attended the event.

From May 21st -29th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of Hue City’s Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Vo Le Nhat, visited Lausanne, Switzerland, to attend the general assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF). The delegation also signed a cooperation agreement with Namur, Belgium, and held meetings with EURASIA Association in Switzerland and the city of Blois in France.
