Alongside its business operations, in 2025, BIDV continued to support the city through various activities, including sponsoring the Hue Festival, assisting the healthcare sector, and offering aid to flood- and storm-affected localities. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo, BIDV provided 800 Tet gift packages, valued at a total of VND 400 million, to disadvantaged residents in 17 wards and communes.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Hue City VFFC, noted that over the past year, banks in general and BIDV in particular have consistently accompanied Hue City VFFC in implementing numerous social welfare programs across localities. The joint efforts of banks and enterprises, she emphasized, are a valuable source of encouragement, contributing alongside Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Front organizations at all levels to effectively carry out social security work, spreading the spirit of “leaving no one behind”.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van also requested that Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of wards and communes should proactively coordinate to promptly receive, allocate, and distribute the gifts to the right beneficiaries, ensuring timeliness, openness, and transparency, so that people can enjoy the spring season and welcome Tet.
