On the afternoon of September 3rd, Hue City People's Committee worked with a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to review preparations for the implementation of the Water Environment Improvement Project – Phase 2 (Priority Area).

During this year’s National Day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, Hue City was estimated to welcome over 651,000 tourist arrivals, up about 231% year on year.

On the morning of September 1, the 2026 Khe Tre Highland Market (third edition) under the theme ‘Spirit of Great Forest - Colors of Independence’ officially kicked off at the Co Tu Ethnic Traditional Cultural Village in Thuong Lo Village, Khe Tre Commune. The event offers visitors a space to experience the unique culture, cuisine, and specialties of the highlands during the National Day holiday (September 2).

On the afternoon of September 1, the Hue Golf Association held a send-off ceremony for its team competing at the 2026 Central and Central Highlands Golf Associations Championship, under the theme ‘Joining Hands for Heritage’.
