| Judging an entry in the field of information technology, electronics and telecommunications |
This year's contest has attracted 109 scientific research projects and technical solutions across six fields: information technology, electronics and telecommunications; mechanics, automation, construction and transportation; materials, chemicals and energy; agriculture, forestry and fisheries, natural resources and the environment; medicine and pharmacy; and education and training.
Based on the 109 registered entries, the contest's Standing Body established seven Specialised Judging Councils covering the six fields. Education and training had the highest number of entries, with 45, followed by medicine and pharmacy with 20; information technology, electronics and telecommunications with 15; mechanics, automation, construction and transportation with 12; agriculture, forestry and fisheries, natural resources and the environment with 11; and materials, chemicals and energy with 6.
A total of 52 prizes will be awarded, with 47.7 per cent of the entries expected to receive prizes. Of these, 22 prizes will go to entries in education and training, 10 to medicine and pharmacy, and 20 to the remaining four fields.

Hue City Technical Innovation Contest is held annually to promote mass creativity in science, technology and engineering, while encouraging the effective application of technical solutions to production and everyday life.
The contest also aims to honour and recognize the contributions of scientists, workers, farmers and innovators whose scientific research projects and technical solutions have been applied in the city and generated significant socio-economic benefits.
In line with Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the contest also provides an opportunity to identify and nurture high-quality human resources and talent to meet the requirements of developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
