200 ‘back-to-school support’ scholarships awarded to disadvantaged students
HNN.VN - On the morning of September 12, in My Thuong Ward, the city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Children of Vietnam (the United States), organized the program ‘Back-to-school support - Scholarship support for disadvantaged students in Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, My Thuong, Vy Da wards, and Phan Dang Luu High School in the period of 2026 - 2031’.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 200 ‘Back-to-school support’ scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, each worth VND 1 million, along with numerous meaningful gifts, helping to cover part of the students’ school expenses and the cost of textbooks, notebooks, and school supplies.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa, President of the city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, emphasized that caring for children in difficult circumstances is the responsibility of the entire political system, families, schools, and society as a whole.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa, the ‘Back-to-school support’ program, implemented for the 2026 - 2031 period, demonstrates a long-term commitment to supporting children in difficult circumstances in the city. The city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights hopes to continue receiving support and partnership from organizations, individuals, businesses, and benefactors to mobilize additional resources for children, particularly those at risk of dropping out of school due to financial difficulties.
