The tropical depression has now moved north of the 17th parallel and across the area of Hue City. At 7 a.m. on September 13, its center was located at approximately 17.2°N and 108.3°E.
Forecasts for the next 24 hours show the tropical depression continuing to move west-northwest at a speed of about 10-15km/h, moving further away from Hue City. As a result, the risk of strong winds affecting the mainland in the locality is no longer a major concern.

Regarding rainfall, the period of heaviest rainfall in Hue City is assessed to have passed. From noon and into the afternoon of September 13, rainfall is expected to gradually ease. However, the rain is not expected to completely cease, and may continue through September 17.
Residents, particularly those living in coastal areas, low-lying areas, along rivers and streams, and in locations at risk of landslides, should continue to closely monitor weather developments, proactively take precautionary measures, and minimize potential damage.
