On the afternoon of August 15, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that on August 14, Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, together with leaders of Dien Bien Province and Tay Ninh Province attended the seminar “Enhancing Dien Bien - Hue - Tay Ninh cooperation with Australian partners”.

On the afternoon of August 13, Hue City People's Committee Office announced that a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, had a series of working sessions in Hobart City, Tasmania, Australia. Nguyen Van Tam, a young man passionate about bamboo flute, has been spreading his love for this traditional musical instrument right on the bank of the Huong River. His clear flute melodies have left a good impression on visitors.

The communal house faces a field, so in this season of the year it’s pervaded by the aroma of ripe rice. I’m standing at the gate of the Van Xa communal house (Huong Van Ward, Huong Tra Town) beholding the yellow paddy field admiring our ancestors who chose this place for the house. Twice a year, the ancient communal house reflects itself on the field, forming a very beautiful rustic sight.
