Vietravel contributes 1 billion VND to help Hue City recover from flood damage
HNN.VN - On the afternoon of November 7th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van, received a donation of 1 billion VND from Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company to support the city’s post-flood recovery efforts.

At the donation ceremony, a Vietravel representative shared that recent storms and flooding had severely affected the lives of residents across Hue City.
With the spirit of solidarity and compassion, the company expressed its wish to join local authorities in helping affected families overcome difficulties and restore stability. The 1 billion VND contribution was entrusted through Hue City People’s Committee, with the hope that it would be used for the right purposes and reach the right beneficiaries.
The representative from Vietravel stated: “As a business headquartered in Hue City, we consider this our second home. Vietravel wishes to stand alongside the local government and Hue people to overcome challenges, restore normal life, and continue pursuing sustainable socio-economic development”.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Phan Thien Dinh thanked Vietravel for its generosity, solidarity, and sense of social responsibility toward Hue residents during this difficult time caused by natural disasters.
Chairman Dinh affirmed that the city would ensure the aid is distributed promptly and transparently to the households most severely affected, helping them recover their livelihoods and production after the floods.
Chairman Phan Thien Dinh also expressed appreciation for the company’s compassion and support, noting that the city’s Fatherland Front Committee would continue to coordinate closely with departments and localities to ensure that the assistance reaches those most in need.
