On the afternoon of July 2, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum and his family to inaugurate the museum, officially open to visitors. The museum is located at 144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City.

At the inspection of the preparation for Hue Festival 2022 at Ngo Mon Square on June 22, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh suggested that the units focus on overall review and the event organizers need the close coordination and expeditious execution of the remaining tasks.

"Emperor Minh Mang’s art of rulership – evidence from the Imperial Archives of the Nguyen Dynasty" is the theme of an exhibition organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the National Archives Center I. The exhibition just opened on the afternoon of June 9 at Thiệu Phương royal garden, inside the Imperial Citadel.

On the morning of June 10, Hue Monuments Conservation Center celebrated its 40th anniversary of establishment (1982 - 2022). "Replicas of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Gold Seal" is an exhibition organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and opened on the afternoon of June 10 at Ngu Phung floor, Ngo Mon and Imperial Citadel, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the center.

Vietnam Summer Fair 2022, a cultural-industrial fair which was held by the Provincial Institute for Research and Development opened on May 28 at 53 Nguyen Hue Street, Hue City. Attending the program was Secretary of the City Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh.

Expected to open to the public in July this year, on the 55th anniversary of General Nguyen Chi Thanh's death, General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (at 144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City) will be the site to exhibit photographs, documents and artifacts that introduce the General’s life of revolutionary activities.

Knapper, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Marie C. Damour, Consul General of the US in Ho Chi Minh city; Ms. Monica Damberg – Ott, Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam; together with cultural assistants and receptionists of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city on the occasion of their visit and work in Thua Thien Hue.
