This statement was made by the Standing Member of Hue City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, at a national workshop on the project “Internationalizing Vietnamese culture and localizing global culture”.

This statement was emphasized by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung, Architect, (Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University) at the seminar “French Colonial Architecture and the “Western Quarter” in Hue City”, which took place on the afternoon of May 11 at the Hue Book and Cultural Space (No. 23 - 25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa District).

From April 11th - 16th, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) and Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Quality Association, returned to Hue for a week to devote to education and local enterprises. This marked his third return to his hometown in 2025, bringing with him a series of heartfelt, meaningful gifts.

For three nights, from April 25 to 27, at Di Nhien Duong Pavilion - an ancient architectural structure in Thieu Phuong Garden - within Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center collaborated with the Doi Dep tea brand to organize the program “Re-enacting the scene of the emperors hosting tea party for his mandarins” as part of the launch of the Royal tea enjoyment service.

Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). The tournament is jointly organized by Hue University and Professional Sports Association and School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University.

On the afternoon of April 1st, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh hosted a courtesy meeting with Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Sarah Hooper.

“The failure at the 100-mile distance (equivalent to 160km) at the Vietnam Mountain Marathon in December 2024 has only driven me to set new goals in Ultra Mountain Marathon, with a strong resolve to rise from failure,” Nguyen Thi Ngot, a Hue-born runner ranked among the top 10 female amateur marathoners in Vietnam for the 42.195km distance, shared her plans for 2025.

In Hue City, the number of conductors is not high, and formally trained conductors are even fewer, with currently only one person: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nhu Y (born 1987), who works at the Department of Composition, Conducting, and Musicology at the Hue Academy of Music.

On the morning of March 26th, People's Committee of Hue City held a technical traffic through opening ceremony for Nguyen Hoang Bridge (part of the Nguyen Hoang Road and Huong River Overpass project).

On the afternoon of March 25th, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh hosted a courtesy meeting with Consul General Kang Boo Sung of South Korea in Da Nang.
