On the afternoon of August 15, an exhibition with dozens of “sculpture” works of breeds with all materials from wood, ceramic, bronze, and iron... has just been opened to the audience at the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery (120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen, Hue City).

After having gone through 13 king reigns, the Nguyen Dynasty left to Hue heritage a huge volume of mausoleums and royal tombs, many of which bring unique historical, architectural, and cultural values such as Gia Long, Minh Mang, Tu Duc, and Khai Dinh royal tombs, etc. This is one of the factors helping Hue to be always attractive to tourists.

Watching the exhibition “Costume of the Nguyen Dynasty” at Le Ba Dang Art Center belonging to Hue Museum of Fine Arts, the public will have an overview about the costumes for different ranks in the Nguyen dynasty. It also reveals the hierarchy and uniqueness of the fine art in the Nguyen’s era.

“Investing and developing a project is like taking care of children; you have to put all your heart and enthusiasm into it. In order to implement a project, it requires not only money and effort but also a great deal of companionship from authorities, departments and branches,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Dong Phuong, Director of Khang Han Company, during her research into the implementation of projects in Thua Thien Hue.

The conservation of architecture and heritage city (HC) landscape plays a critical role in concretizing the target of turning Hue into a centrally-run city.
