On August 13th, a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of four Lao provinces: Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet, visited and surveyed an organic farming model operated by Que Lam Group in Phong Dien Ward.

On August 12th in Hue City, Nguyen Chi Thanh School of Politics held a seminar to exchange experience in personnel training and professional development with a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet provinces in Laos.

On the afternoon of August 10, at the Consulate General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Da Nang City, a delegation of Hue City leaders, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, paid tribute to H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Politburo member of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao National Assembly.

On the morning of July 22nd, Hue City Red Cross Society held a working session with a delegation from Salavan Provincial Red Cross Society of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to exchange experience in Red Cross work and humanitarian activities.

On the afternoon of June 30, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted welcomed a delegation of outstanding teachers and students from the Nguyen Du Lao - Vietnamese Bilingual School (Lao People's Democratic Republic) for a visit, exchange program, and tour to learn about the school's traditions.

As part of an official working trip to provinces of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the morning of April 13, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, visited Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Savannakhet Province, Laos.

Concluding the official visit to provinces in Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the afternoon of April 12th, a delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, visited, held talks, and extended Bunpimay New Year 2026 greetings in Savannakhet Province. On the side of Savannakhet Province, the delegation was received by Mr. Daovone Xaysoulien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Government, along with leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

The visit and extending Bunpimay New Year greetings by the delegation from Hue City to Champasak, Laos, demonstrated a strong commitment to concretizing high-level agreements between the two Parties and States, thereby promoting more substantive and effective cooperation between the two localities.

On the afternoon of April 9th, a delegation from Hue, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, paid a visit, held working sessions, and extended Bunpimay New Year greetings in Salavan Province, Lao PDR.

From April 6th to 10th, a delegation from the Police Department of Hue City, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Director of the municipal Police, paid visits, extended New Year greetings, and held working sessions with police forces in Lao provinces of Salavan, Champasak, Savannakhet, and Sekong (Lao PDR).
