Sharing experience on organic farming with Lao delegation

At the 15-hectare 4F organic, circular, and ecological agricultural complex, unit representatives introduced Lao delegation to several notable models, including organic Yellow Cattle farming, organic chicken farming, and black-soldier-fly farming using agricultural by-products. All of these models follow organic and circular production principles, applying microbial technology and utilizing by-products from agricultural production to create new products. This approach helps increase economic value, reduce input costs, and minimize environmental impacts.

The delegation then met with leaders of Que Lam Group to discuss the development of organic and circular agriculture and opportunities for future cooperation. Representatives of Lao Schools of Politics and Public Administration noted that Laos has considerable potential for developing organic and circular agriculture, given its extensive land resources and diverse natural conditions. However, these advantages have yet to be fully utilized. The delegation expressed its hope for further opportunities to exchange knowledge, learn from practical experience, and receive support from Que Lam Group in developing agricultural models suited to conditions in Laos.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Que Lam Group expressed his condolences over the passing of Xaysomphone Phomvihane, President of the National Assembly of Laos. Representatives of Que Lam Group said that, through its activities and cooperation, the Group had met and held direct discussions with Xaysomphone Phomvihane on numerous occasions. Their discussions included ideas for developing organic and circular agriculture and applying high technology to agricultural production. These initiatives are significant not only for agricultural development but also for creating practical opportunities for cooperation between businesses in the two countries.

Que Lam Group said it would continue to pursue cooperation and provide support for agricultural development in Laos, with particular emphasis on training local farmers in relevant knowledge and skills and transferring production processes. The Group also plans to strengthen connections with Lao authorities, specialized agencies, and localities to gradually develop models tailored to local conditions, laying the foundation for sustainable and high-value organic and circular agricultural value chains.
