On the afternoon of December 1, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a conference to officially transfer Hue Medical College - previously under the management of Hue City People’s Committee - to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in accordance with Decision No. 2346/QĐ-TTg dated October 23, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister.

The 2025 Men’s National Student Football Championship - TV360 Cup ended with the championship title belonging to Hue University after a nail-biting victory over Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports in the penalty shootout.

On November 28th, at the City Institute for Development Studies, Hue City Children’s Rights Protection Association organized a training session on reproductive health care skills and water safety education for its staff and members. The program is part of the Association’s 2025 activity plan and was carried out in coordination with the organization HueHelp.

From November 24th to 28th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) Base 2 cooperated with the Medical Development Assistance in Vietnam (ADM-VN) Organization - France to provide free eye examinations and eyeglasses for local residents. This is the third time the program is implemented.

On the afternoon of November 26th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the People’s Committee of Hung Loc Commune, organized a program providing medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine to residents affected by the prolonged flooding. This humanitarian activity aims to help people quickly stabilize their physical and mental well-being and proactively prevent diseases in the post-disaster period.

On the afternoon of November 26, during a official trip to Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, had a working session with Bamboo Airways on the promotion and expansion of domestic and international flight routes to Hue.

At the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the qualities of dedication, deep expertise, and moral integrity in an educator are often associated - by generations of students, trainees, and colleagues - with Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, the Rector. More than an administrator or a gifted leader, he is a model teacher who has devoted his life to education, medicine, and the enduring values of humanity.

On the morning of November 22nd, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s Decision on the merger of Hue Medical College into the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in accordance with Decision No. 2346/QD-TTg dated October 23rd, 2025.

Following severe floods, numerous relief convoys, volunteer groups, and meaningful gifts have been delivered directly to people in deeply flooded areas in Hue. These “golden hearts” have instilled faith and motivation, helping them stand firm against difficulties and rebuild a peaceful life during the Great National Solidarity Festival (November 18).

International cooperation programs in the health sector have brought practical benefits to Hue City, achieving “three goals with one action”: creating opportunities for medical staff to improve their skills; helping thousands of patients access advanced treatment techniques; and strengthening the reputation of medical institutions.
