On the afternoon of September 30, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to announce the implementation of electronic medical records. On the morning of September 29, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired an online meeting with local authorities regarding the recovery from Typhoon No. 10. Immediately after that, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the City Steering Committee for Civil Defence; and Colonel Phan Thang, Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Commander of Hue City Military Command, organized a meeting to implement measures to overcome the typhoon's aftermath in the city.

In 2005, I was fortunate to meet Dang Van Viet, a revered elder, in Hue, where he had come from Hanoi to join the 60th anniversary of the Frontline Youth School. There, I learned that he was the one who, together with a comrade, raised the red flag with the yellow star over the Phu Van Lau (Phu Van Pavilion) flagpole on August 21, 1945-when the August Revolution had yet to break out, Japanese forces were still armed, and the Nguyen dynasty still stood in the imperial capital of Hue.

On September 21, the Office of the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that Hue City People’s Committee, in collaboration with Phuong Trang Group (FUTA Group), and Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU).
