Signing community healthcare cooperation program for 2026 - 2030
HNN.VN - On the morning of June 3rd, Hue City Department of Health and the city Farmers' Association held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program for the 2026 - 2030 period aimed at strengthening communication and advocacy efforts to encourage farmer members to participate in protecting, caring for, and improving community health.

Attending the conference were Specialist Level II, Doctor Hoang Trong Quy, M.S., Deputy Director of the Hue City Department of Health; representatives of specialized divisions under the Department of Health, Hue City Center for Disease Control, the Lung Hospital, as well as leaders of the city Farmers' Association and related agencies.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Department of Health emphasized the importance of cooperation between the health sector and the Farmers' Association in raising public awareness and promoting positive changes in health-related behaviors. Farmer members constitute a large segment of the population and play an important role in socio-economic development and new rural development. Expanding health communication and education efforts among this group is expected to improve quality of life, foster healthier communities, and support sustainable development.
At the conference, representatives of the City Center for Disease Control reported on the results of the cooperation program for the 2021–2026 period. Accordingly, a wide range of health communication and education activities on disease prevention and control, the harmful effects of tobacco, food safety, and healthcare for farmer members were implemented extensively and achieved positive results. These activities not only helped improve knowledge and encourage healthier behaviors but also enabled residents to take a more proactive role in preventing diseases and protecting their own health and that of their families.
Under the newly signed agreement, during the 2026 - 2030 period, the two organizations will focus on coordinating health communication and education activities across several key areas, including food safety; population and development; reproductive healthcare; prevention and control of communicable diseases; prevention and control of non-communicable diseases in conjunction with proper nutrition; environmental health protection; prevention of the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol; and prevention of occupational diseases in agricultural production. In addition, consultation and communication efforts regarding respiratory and lung diseases will be strengthened to improve public awareness and disease prevention capacity.
