Vibrant “Festival for children in special circumstances”
HNN.VN - On June 3, at Ly Tu Trong Park in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with the City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Social Work and Child Protection Center, together with various units, organizations, and benefactors, organized the “Festival for children in special circumstances 2026”. The event aimed to provide meaningful encouragement to hundreds of children in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the Action Month for Children 2026.

Over the years, Hue City has consistently prioritized child care, protection, and education through a wide range of practical programs and activities. In particular, for children in special circumstances, children with disabilities, orphans, and those living in social protection facilities, the city has mobilized the participation across all levels of government, sectors, and the community to create conditions for their comprehensive development.
Speaking at the event, representatives of the Organizing Committee acknowledged and highly evaluated the efforts of local authorities, units, social organizations, protection centers, and benefactors in supporting vulnerable children. They also expressed sincere gratitude to the collectives and individuals who have dedicated many years to charitable activities for children, including social organizations, charitable funds, and benefactors from both Vietnam and abroad.

On this occasion, the participating units, organizations, and benefactors presented 105 gift packages, totalling nearly 80 million VND, to children living in social protection facilities across the city. The program also featured a variety of engaging activities, including an art exhibition, group games, and booths showcasing products designed and created by the children themselves.
