Within the framework of the community Ao Dai Week - “Hue in Autumn” Festival 2026, on the morning of July 4, the Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, organized a ceremony to offer incense and flowers in commemoration of Martial Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, and holding a procession of gratitude to Martial Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, and Emperor Minh Mang.

Well-known Vietnamese entertainers Truong Giang, Le Duong Bao Lam, Ngo Kien Huy, Kieu Minh Tuan, Huy Khanh, and others, dressed in traditional ao dai, joined the ‘Bach Hoa Bo Hanh’ (Hundred Flowers Parade) to promote Vietnam's traditional attire and the cultural heritage of Hue.

On the evening of July 4, at the City Cinema and Culture Center, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People’s Committee, held the opening ceremony of the 2026 “Playing folk musical instruments and singing folk songs from the three regions” Festival.

Prestigious awards such as the Mai An Tiem Award and the CoopStar Awards, organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, are not only a recognition of innovative and creative efforts but also a driving force for cooperatives’ growth. On the evening of July 3, at Phung Chanh Hamlet in Vinh Loc Commune, Hue City Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with Vinh Loc Commune People's Committee, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Co.opmart Hue, held the opening ceremony of the 2026 Product Fair of Cooperatives, Affiliated Enterprises, and Saigon Co.op in Vinh Loc.

On the morning of July 3, hundreds of people wearing the traditional ao-dai took part in the “Ao Dai Connecting Tourism and Heritage” event, held at the forecourt of Quoc Tu Giam historical site of Hue Imperial Citadel (on 23 Thang 8 St., Phu Xuan Ward).

On the afternoon of July 2, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, had a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) on an official visit to Hue.

The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th.
