Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 1, heavy rainfall occurred in Hue City, causing significant damage to people and property. Currently, units and localities in low-lying areas have mobilized maximum resources and machinery to overcome the aftermath of the floods.

At the end of May, Hue hosted the first session of a local artist training course organized by 4ll-in Performance Art Company (4LLIN). Coming to Hue, the young members of 4LLIN brought the project “Developing the performing arts ecosystem in Hue, from June to December 2025.”

From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. On the afternoon of June 13, Hue City Military Command and relevant units mobilized 200 soldiers to Thuy Tan commune (Huong Thuy town) to help local people harvest nearly 90 hectares of off-season rice that had been flooded due to the impact of Storm No.1.

On the morning of June 12, Hue City Youth Activity Center coordinated with Pingo Hue English Center held the final round of the 4th English Olympiad for Hue Students in 2025.

On the morning of June 12, Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Joint Stock Company - FAHASA - held the grand opening ceremony for the FAHASA Song Huong Bookstore at Vincom Plaza Hue Commercial Center.

More than just creating a space to promote and support craft villages on-site and bring Hue’s specialties farther afield, the young founders of Dac san Kinh Do – Songcentre Hue (Imperial Specialties – Hue Living Center) brand also embed a story in each product and apply technology to production, with the aspiration to fulfill the mission of inheriting and renewing traditional crafts so that Hue’s craft village brands can take off and expand their markets.

On the afternoon of June 11th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, met and held a working session with Mr. Kobayashi Yosuke, the newly appointed Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of June 10, the Ministry of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament at Hue Stadium. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, attended the event.
