Surveying wellness tourism products in Hue City

The “Restructuring the Tourism Sector to Meet the Requirements of Becoming a Key Economic Sector” plan, approved under Decision No. 1685/QD-TTg dated December 5th, 2018 by the Prime Minister, has established an important policy framework for the comprehensive renewal of the tourism sector. The Cooperative Fair, held by the City Cooperative Alliance over two days, January 17 -18, at the Cooperative Economy Platform (16 Nguyen Luong Bang, Thuan Hoa Ward), was not only a shopping destination, but also a vital bridge bringing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, and local specialties closer to consumers, contributing to spreading the value of the collective economy and building trust in local agricultural products.

On the first day back to work after the 2026 New Year holiday, Hue residents were greeted with encouraging news: during the holiday period, the city was estimated to have welcomed around 85,000 visitors, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year.

Thirteen years after Hue first hosted the National Tourism Year, the event returned to the city for the second time in 2025, opening a gateway to new opportunities. From this series of events, beyond the growth figures, the city has gained valuable experience and a new surge of energy known as the “Aspiration for transformation”.

On the afternoon of January 5, Hue City Statistics Office held a press conference to announce the socio-economic data for 2025.
