The works from the contest for composing new lyrics to Hue folk tunes, paintings about Hue culture, and collections of folklore organized by the Department of Education and Training (DoET) have become valuable educational resources for implementing the local cultural education program for preschool children.

On December 5 and 6, at the Provincial Continuing Education Center, the Provincial Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, organized a training session on teaching safe swimming skills and preventing drowning in students.

On October 23, the Department of Education and Training held a session to assess the works participating in the competition for composing new lyrics based on Hue folk melodies; painting about Hue culture and collecting local games, folk songs, and folk poems appropriate with preschool education.

From October 3rd to 5th, the Department of Education and Training organized the provincial 12th Grade excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the afternoon of September 28th, the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the Provincial Museum of History, organized a heritage visit and experience at the Imperial Citadel for students who received the title of “Honored student of the school" for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

On the afternoon of May 7, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with the Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund and the Department of Education and Training to organize an awarding ceremony to students who won high prizes in the national excellent student competition in the academic year of 2023 - 2024. Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho attended the ceremony.

On the afternoon of September 16, the Provincial Department of Education and Training coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to organize activities of visiting and experiencing heritage at Hue Imperial Citadel for students achieving the title of "Honorary students of the whole school” in the academic year of 2022 - 2023.

In an effort to continue to preserve and promote the cultural heritage value of Bai choi art, on the morning of August 30th, in Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town), the Department of Culture & Information in coordination with the Department of Education organized a training workshop on Bai choi singing for teachers from preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area of Huong Thuy town.
