On the evening of December 21, as part of the closing event of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel transformed into a “high-energy hotspot” of music as the Mega Booming Day 2 attracted thousands of spectators and young people, who immersed themselves in the enthusiastic atmosphere of Hue Mega Concert.

On the afternoon of December 21, Hue City Department of Health organized the 2025 Child Drowning Prevention Knowledge and Skills Contest. This is a practical activity aimed at raising awareness and equipping students with water safety skills, while spreading the responsibility of families, schools, and the whole society in protecting children from the risk of drowning.

After a vibrant year featuring a wide array of large-scale, culturally rich programs and activities, the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025 officially came to a close with a closing ceremony combined with a special art performance on the evening of December 20, leaving lasting impressions on local residents and visitors alike.

On the afternoon of December 20 in Hanoi, the final round of the 2025 National Startup Project Development Program took place as part of the National Startup Festival 2025.

On the morning of December 20, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (VASLD), and Vietnamese Society of Hepato Biliary Pancreatic Surgery (VSHBPS), in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony of the 18th National Conference of VASLD & VSHBPS with the theme “Promotion of developing for technical progress”, and simultaneously launched the Minimally Invasive Treatment for HBP Chapter of VASLD.

On the morning of December 20 - 21, the Vovinam Tournament under the 10th Hue City Sports Games in 2025 - 2026 officially kicked off at the City Youth Activities Center. It is the eighth sport featured at this year’s Games, following traditional boat racing, karate, taekwondo, shuttlecock kicking, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.

On December 20th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in coordination with the Institute of International Education, organized the “European Study Abroad and Career Orientation Fair”.

On the morning of December 19th, Hue International General Hospital Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of Hue International General Hospital at No. 15 Hanoi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City. The event took place in the vibrant atmosphere welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and was selected as one of the nationwide live broadcast sites, showing the scale, significance, and high expectations placed on this modern healthcare project.

On December 19, Hue Central Hospital held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Central Hospital Directors Club annual conference, themed “Hospital management thinking in the digital transformation era”.
