On the afternoon of May 16, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a conference on “Developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation”.

On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

A professional training course for swimming and diving lifeguards in 2025, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, is taking place from May 15 to 19 at the city's Sports Center (the swimming pool at 2 Le Quy Don Street). On the morning of May 10, the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Hue City Business Association held a ceremony to announce the digital platform “For Businesses”, which is integrated on Hue-S, and the “Digital Working” platform for the City Business Association Office and its members.

On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.
